REVIEW: AVENE SKIN RECOVERY CREAM

The reason I am writing today is, in the video, I would like to recommend one product, which actually worked for me, whenever I used it. The product is called Avene Skin recovery cream. In my video, the cream was called, Avene calming moisturizing formula, and it seems the name got changed because I could not find the product on the Internet. However, I remember when I purchased the product, the sales lady said the name changed and the product was the same.  

Anyways………

I first encountered Avene product when I got a breakout on my face. Now, I do not usually get breakouts thanks to my family’s genes(?), so when I got a break out, I knew it was not normal. Also, it was not like the usual acne where it was gradual, but it was a sudden outburst, all over my cheeks.  



 

Avene is known for working well on sensitive skin and the one I bought had “Chatelaine 100 beauty winner” sticker on it, so that tells me this product is adored by other people.

I usually purchase this item from local drugstore called London Drugs for approx. 35 cad but when I searched it on Amazon, some listings came out as 25 cad, so, do your research for best prices! When I purchase it locally, I do wait for discounts heh heh

The cream feels nice and it does not feel sticky!

One thing to note! Sometimes, too much of a good thing is not a good thing. One time, when my irritants disappeared after using the product, I continued to use the product thinking it would give me additional benefits using it on a clear skin. However, that was not the case and I did not notice anything special or different. The product is not cheap, and I did not want my skin to get immune to this product, so I stopped using it.

Lately, I have not gotten any irritants, so I did not get the chance to use it, but it seems the product is still popular and widely known. If not, NOW YOU KNOW! ;)

Now there was one fact that I was not aware of. The product only have few essential ingredients in the product because of its special sealing system. When you squeeze the product, the end of the tube has a vacuum like seal, so it sucks the product back up to prevent any other bacteria from coming in. I thought this was kind of cool :0 I now remember, when I was at the end using up the cream, it was hard to squeeze and the cap would not budge! Now I realize, it was to protect the bacteria coming in! How sweet :p

Advantages

Ø  Good for sensitive skin

Ø  Helped clear out my irritants everytime!

Ø  Still somewhat affordable. Approx. 35 CAD on London Drugs website, but on Amazon, it was listed as 25CAD so search up that engine for best prices!

Ø  Accessible. I usually purchase mine at London Drugs when they have discounts but I might check out Amazon now! 

Ø  Not too much chemicals in the ingredients department. Less than 15!

Disadvantages

Ø  It can be pricey for a small tube (50ml)…I hope it comes out as a bigger tube because once I start using it, it seems to get used quite quickly…but because it work, I keep buying……yaaaaaas..

So here is my take on this cream that I have been purchasing over and over and over and over.

Recommend?

YAAASSSS…..yes I totally would and I would continue to purchase it until the next thing comes along.

Hello everyone!

It has been a long post like always. I have been making You Tube videos but have not been writing on my blogs.

I am still new in this You Tube world but so far I am having fun :)

You Tube gave me a chance to connect with other people all over the world and this is something what I would like to do as well. 

There are so many channels that will give you information how to make You Tube videos and the one I subscribed to are called You Tube Creator Academy . I have not watched all their videos haha....but I think they have some great content! I just....got to find the time ha ha.....

Addicted to watching Netflix …

 

ANOTHER LATE POST...Got addicted to NETFLIX!!! =_=

So me and my partner got Netflix couple of weeks ago...hence me being two weeks late.

I live in 21st century and I just discovered the wonderfulness of watching shows without commercials!

With that fascination in mind, I just could not get the motivation to work on anything! I became a sloth! Even though I just googled, and saw that Koala can sleep one to two hours more.

Believe it or not, I had  a lot of ideas in my head of what I wanted to write in my blogs or to make videos.  
But I have been suffering from Netflix binging….

I got Netflix about 3 weeks ago now..? and have been hooked since.

 I really have to do something about this…..I find watching shows that do not leave me hanging because of no commercial breaks fascinates me! When the show gets interrupted by switching to commercials just breaks my entire mood from staring at two smart lawyers from the show Suits, or re-watching one of my all-time favorite comedies, Friends.

I tried looking for many different ways on how to find THE right way to watch my shows. For example, sitting up, lying down, lying sideways, lying half tilt, left, or the right side and this is something what I go through to figure out when I plant my arse to make myself fully immersed with the show that is presented in front of me.

My point is to find a way to stop the temptation to head to my brown couch which is quite fine and soft and at times cold because of the leather.  

I must find motivation…must find the urge to get up and go ahead about my work. When I get used to being a certain way, I tend to get stuck and I do not want to be stuck. I may not realize that at first because I like that comfort feeling, but I cannot seem to face the harsh realities that seems to be parked somewhere in my head that I want to brush it away. I know I cannot, because when I snap my sense back to the reality, I still have to face what I have to do.

Information about ACTUAL haul video...:)

Hi folks!

So I am here to talk about an ACTUAL haul video. It was a bit of a failing project from last post..so TA DAH!! Here I am.

It is not even that exciting but give me a break,,ok?!

Unlike other people, I actually like watching haul videos. It is like having a personal assistant buying and trying all the clothes, so I do not have to!! 

When I watch haul videos, I do have to like the person's taste. That sounds quite fair, no?

And I do not know what it is, but I absolutely have to like the way how people talk!!! Their voice, the rhythm.....it cannot be annoying!!!!!

Omg...so if I do sound annoying, pleaaaaaaaaase let me know! Not that I will change the way how I talk which I have spoken in that way for gazillion years? So it will be hard to change that. 

Anyways, I am getting distracted due to personal issues grrrrr...

I am getting quite tired, and hungry.

So anyways back to haul video...wow...

yeah I just made one so here it is! The latest video include me purchasing items from urban outfitters, f21, sephora, and aliexpress.com.

They were purchased from online US website except for sephora items. I will have to start really calculating because of the exchange rates, Canadian dollar is like SHIET!!

I will link my preview haul videos down below so watch if you want and I will not get angry if you will not. They are pretty long. I am thinking of ideas how to trim them down. I will have to start eliminating from saying, "umms"!!!!!!

Haul Videos!!!.....Or not.

So I will be doing monthly haul videos because I like buying things? Oh man..I should probably work on budgeting instead of making haul videos.

Seriously, ever since these haul videos started popping out, I bet companies would start clapping their hands and do a salsa dance. I mean those companies do not even have to advertise their products. WE DO IT FOR THEM!

If you really think about it, those companies should start paying us! Which...they do, to the successful and popular You Tubers I guess....heh heh..and I am not saying I want to be in that situation...but yeah receiving money while making videos would be nice! And helpful to my current lifestyle. 

So... I just got out of a job. Did not pass the probation as they say..so here I am blogging and making videos. I only tend to blog when I get crappy shitz going on. I mean my preview blog post is about my freaken car accident....dear gawdddd....

Anyways, feeling pretty crappy.....eeyup..still crappy but I guess it happens for a reason. It is not my first time getting rejected so I feel I can handle the rejection but guess not. Seriously at that time, I just wanted to cry and bawl my eyes and just shake them and ask WHY..WHY WHYYY???

But I held myself and smiled occasionally showing them that I am STRONG...!!!!!

Oh wells, after I came out of that shitty situation, I could not smile and only have "resting bitch face" (you tube that shiet and it is the ORIGINAL video!!) while taking skytrain back home. I could not smile...and it was a GORGEOUS day out, too!! Fuk..what a waste. 

Wasted it, but fear not my friends! I do have two other jobs...even though they are part time...even though I only work twice a week at each job...ha ha...

So I will still have some cash flowing...some what. I will start to look for another job...as soon as I am done swearing, pointing blame, and smiling? Seriously, maybe this was the best thing that ever happened to me! Who the fuk knows?! 

But what I do know is that I will not give up. HELLS NAH!! Okay...I heard one youth telling me, who uses that term?! So yeah....a bit of generation gap right there but I am going to say it in MY FREAKEN BLOG!! HELLS NAH!!!!!!!

Wow..I was supposed to talk about a monthly haul videos but I got sidetracked for a bit...

Well to the next post then...

It has been so late...

Wow...it has been so long..too long! 

I am pretty terrible at this but I feel I am too stubborn. 

I refuse to give this up? 

Maybe somebody should literally take my fingers off the computer keyboard. 

I am still here and I continue to be so. 

So just to update myself, I am still alive? 

Also back in September 2014, I got into a car accident. 

That was a shock because that was my first time getting into an accident, and I am a pretty careful driver. I am one of those people that drive on speed and only drive faster which will only be 10km more if I feel other drivers are pressuring me to go faster. Even though this may sound unfair and I do not believe this all the time; however, I do believe I become a victim if I choose to become one. So I do try to be safe on the road as much as I can. 

For my car accident,  I will not go too much into details as the case is still ongoing. I know there are a ton of information on the website how to take care of yourself when you get into a car accident; however, this is my #minimalistminnie way to get better and to share my experience with the internet. (As in the most simple, and fast way..)

First of all, as soon as I realized I got into a car accident, I made sure my neck worked? I remembered I turned my neck left and right to see if I was still alive and I was (Thank god!!) I called my mom as soon as possible as she is an insurance agent and I was freaking out but TRY TO REMAIN CALM! (I know, this can be very very hard). I was shaking the whole time..geez.

I called mom and briefly told her I was in a car accident and at that time, I made a mistake of not calling 911, so to save the trouble, CALL 911! (In North America) 

I got out of the car and exchanged insurance papers with the driver that rear ended me. I made sure I saw his insurance paper to make sure he was not lying about his information. I got his phone number, and also saw his drivers license. I also took a picture of the vehicle and mine as well just in case. Also  for me, I knew the location that I got into an accident and this can be important for all of you down the road when trying to describe later. 

Make sure you take a picture of the area and make a note of it. I should have taken a picture of the road condition as it was pouring down and road was slippery. If I had an witness, I would have grabbed them, too but it was raining, and there was a huge traffic jam and nobody stopped T.T.. 

I googled and found that I should relax my muscles as they get tightened after an  impact. I went and got an #Epsomsalt and you can get whichever epsom salt there is available, but I got the Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt Soaking Solution for Relax & Relief with Eucalyptus Spearmint. The package states it will relax your body and relieve your mind, and eases aches and muscle pains.





 

Overall, after I took a bath, I felt much more relaxed. I know right after the accident, I called my partner, and started to shout and yell at him. I think I was in shock and yeah...

Afterwards, I called the ICBC which is the automotive insurance carrier for British Columbia residents and explained of the situation. 

And then I called mom again and went to bed. 

Another important thing is to keep a pain diary. Please search on the internet for further details and this would be useful for me if I have to re-hash how I have been or progressed throughout the time. 

6 months later, I am feeling better;however, still suffering from aches here and there. I am continuing to see my chiropractor and acupuncture, so make sure to keep those appointments! I am continuing to see a doctor to let him know how I am doing thus far.

I am slowly working out and seeing how my body feels. Taking it slow :)

Markkit Haul || FULLSIZE BLACK SPEEDY HANDBAG

Hello all,

I am doing another post about a bag that I purchased from a site called Markkit.com. 

It is a site where they have various Youtubers as stylist mavens and anybody such as you and me can try to find clothes and accessories Youtubers wore!

It is a brilliant concept when people ALWAYS bombard Youtubers where they purchased their items.

Now, you and me can finally know where to find all the items in one site, rather than searching them all over the internet.

Currently, I only follow one of my favorite Youtubers, HEYCLAIRE and purchased a full size black speedy handbag with studded bottom. When I first received, I loved it as the texture was soft, and nothing came broken!
